Iodine is a trace mineral found in deep sea fish, such as tuna or cod, dairy products, such as milk or yogurt, and in iodized salt.
People who may be susceptible to iodine deficiency include:

Pregnant women
People who eat high amounts of goitrogenic foods such as soy, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower or Brussels sprouts. Goitrogenic foods can interfere with how the body uses iodine
